Frequently Asked Questions
During our normal operating hours of 6:00am and 8:00pm, we meet our guests in person. Vehicles are also available for pick-up outside this time window, but in those cases, the check-in process will be handled via messaging though the Turo app, and the vehicle will be remotely unlocked.
It is relatively easy to get to the vehicle. After deplaning and collecting your bags, you will need to make your way to the Economy Lot shuttle. The shuttle stop is located about midway along the front of the terminal building, and is on a pedestrian island in the middle of the airport drive. You will tell the attendant that you need the shuttle for Economy Lot One. After boarding the shuttle, tell the driver that your vehicle is located in Section B of Economy Lot One, and provide the type and color of the vehicle. The shuttle will take you directly to the car!
We will be happy to work with you, although it should be recognized that at times, the vehicle that you have booked may already be reserved by another client for the time frame you wish to extend. If the car you have booked is unavailable, we will endeavor to work with you to provide an alternate vehicle from our fleet.
Unless a renter has selected the pre-paid fuel option as an extra, we do expect them to be returned with a full tank, which is how we provide our vehicles at the beginning of each rental.
Yes. We take pride in not only providing well-maintained cars, but we also thoroughly clean and disinfect the vehicles between rentals.
While guests are not expected to clean the cars prior to returning them, they are asked to treat them responsibly and to maintain them in an orderly condition. We maintain a membership at the Perdido Auto Spa for our vehicles, and if a guest is staying in the area near the car wash and desires to utilize it during their trip, all they need to do is to drive up next to the cross bar. A scanner will automatically read the license plate number and the cross bar will raise, allowing our guests to have the car washed at no cost to them.
As with all Turo car rentals, our vehicles are non-smoking/vaping. We ask that renters respect our desire to keep our cars as clean and odor free as possible for the enjoyment of our guests.
On a case-by-case basis, we do allow pets. Please contact us in advance of your trip so that we can discuss the particulars of your pet, and arrive at a mutually agreeable fee for the extra cleaning that is necessary following the completion of the rental.
