Description
Hoshi, our Infiniti QX70, puts the word “Sport” in Sport Utility Vehicle. Her 325 horsepower V6 engine provides plenty of power, and being an All-Wheel Drive, she has superior traction, allowing her to grip the road better than many of the other SUVs. Don’t let her sporty looks and performance deceive you, though! As soon as you enter her cabin, it becomes apparent that she’s a luxury-class automobile, with her sleek and stylish cabin, which is appointed with beautiful leather seating; and she comes equipped with a Bose® 11-speaker premium sound system as well as a power moonroof. While not as large as some other SUV’s, she can accommodate up to 5 people, and she’s anxious to help you enjoy your beach getaway. In addition to the vehicle description above, we would like to point out a few things that we do to try to differentiate ourselves from other Turo hosts: Our goal is to provide the most professional, friendly, and accommodating service possible to our clients, as well as to provide well-maintained cars that are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to each rental. We equipped each of our rental cars with a SunPass transponder (transponder #0463099410109) and purchased an annual toll pass for the Bob Sikes bridge that leads over to Pensacola Beach, which is provided on a complimentary basis to our guests. Guests that go on other roadways and/or bridges that accrue SunPass tolls will be invoiced for the cost of the tolls after the end of their rental. We provide complimentary multi charging cables with each vehicle, which can allow charging of up to four devices at the same time, including Apple products as well as devices that require Type-C and Micro USB plugs. We ask that our guests not remove the cables from the vehicles, and to allow them to remain for the benefit of subsequent guests. These cables do wear out, and if one is found to be defective, please let us know so that we can replace it. Recognizing that many visitors to our area are interested in going to the beach, we have installed WeatherTech floor liners in all of our cars to help control the amount of sand that is tracked into the cars and contain it before it becomes embedded in the carpeting. We believe this allows our cars to be easier to maintain by both ourselves and our guests, and to also provide the cleanest car possible to the next guest who may have it booked for rental. The Florida and Alabama sun can be severe for a significant portion of the year. To help control the interior build-up of heat as the cars sit out in the sun unoccupied, we have had the side and rear windows on all of our vehicles professionally tinted. We believe this added feature helps ensure that the air conditioning can be more effective and our guests are kept as comfortable as possible. Each of our vehicles has an umbrella and first aid kit included for your use in the event of inclement weather or an unexpected accident. All we ask is that you leave them in the vehicle at the conclusion of your trip, and if the umbrella happens to break (accidents happen!), please let us know so that we can replace it. Similarly, if you use something from out of the first aid kit, please let us know so that we can replenish it. While guests are not expected to clean the cars prior to returning them, they are asked to treat them responsibly and to maintain them in an orderly condition. We maintain a membership at the Perdido Auto Spa for our vehicles, and if a guest is staying in the area near the car wash and desires to utilize it during their trip, all they need to do is to drive up next to the cross bar. A scanner will automatically read the license plate number and the cross bar will raise, allowing our guests to have the car washed at no cost to them. The last thing worth noting is an issue that often causes some confusion is the pick-up/drop-off of the car. Please be aware that our “home” location is on Perdido Key, about 40 minutes away from the airport. For our guests that are traveling by air, we do offer delivery to the airport for a nominal fee to cover a little of our labor and costs, and we waive the delivery fee for bookings that are at least a week in duration. To this end, please make sure to select the airport delivery option if this is what you desire. Many guests miss this step and it can lead to unnecessary confusion and concerns.
